Job Description

Five Below is seeking a Support Lead to join our team and help drive our mission of providing affordable, trend-right products to our customers. As a Support Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, and providing exceptional customer service.   1. Oversee daily operations of the store: The Support Lead will be responsible for ensuring that the store is running smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis. This includes overseeing tasks such as opening and closing procedures, restocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness and organization standards.
  2. Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager: The Support Lead will work closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to help drive the store's success. This includes assisting with scheduling, training new team members, and providing feedback and support as needed.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service: As a Support Lead, it is important to lead by example and provide exceptional customer service to all Five Below customers. This includes greeting and assisting customers, resolving any customer issues, and maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
  4. Demonstrate leadership skills: The ideal candidate for this role will have previous leadership experience and the ability to lead a team effectively. The Support Lead will be responsible for delegating tasks, providing guidance and support to team members, and ensuring that all team members are following company policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain store standards: The Support Lead will be responsible for ensuring that the store is always clean, organized, and well-stocked. This includes regularly conducting store walks, checking inventory levels, and addressing any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
  6. Foster a positive and dynamic work environment: Five Below is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and the Support Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive and energetic workplace. This includes leading by example, motivating team members, and promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  7. Uphold company values: As a representative of Five Below, the Support Lead must embody the company's values of fun, excitement, and affordability. This includes embracing the company culture and promoting a positive image of the brand to customers and team members.

  • Knowledge Of Store Operations: While Previous Experience In A Retail Environment Is Not Always Required, A Basic Understanding Of Store Operations And Procedures Is Important For A Support Lead. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Cash Handling, And Store Layout.
