Asset Protection Specialist

Five Below is looking for an experienced and motivated Asset Protection Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a self-starter with a strong work ethic who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our stores are secure and our customers have the best shopping experience possible. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of security protocols and techniques, as well as a passion for customer service and problem solving.The Asset Protection Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Five Below’s property and customers. Responsibilities of an Asset Protection Specialist:

-Perform security patrols of the store to identify and address any potential security or safety risks

-Monitor security systems and respond to any alarms

-Investigate and document incidents of shoplifting, employee theft, and other security violations

-Monitor customer behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment

-Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience

-Assist in the enforcement of store policies and procedures

-Act as a liaison between store management and law enforcement

-Maintain accurate records and documentation of security incidents

-Stay current on all security technologies and techniques and recommend improvements when necessary

-Conduct regular training sessions for store personnel on security procedures and protocols
