
Technical Animator

- Collaborate with animation and programming teams to create high-quality character animations for video games.
- Utilize technical knowledge and skills to develop efficient animation pipelines and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical animation issues as they arise.
- Create and maintain documentation for animation and technical processes.
- Continuously research and implement new techniques and tools to improve animation quality and efficiency.
- Ensure that all animations meet technical and aesthetic requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Participate in animation reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Work closely with game designers and artists to understand and implement animation requirements.
- Mentor and train junior animators on technical processes and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and trends in animation and video games.
- Collaborate with external studios and vendors, if necessary, to ensure animation standards are met.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver animations within established deadlines.
- Ensure that all animations are optimized for performance on various gaming platforms.
- Continuously improve and update animation tools and processes to increase efficiency and quality.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Animation, Game Development, Or A Related Field.
Strong Proficiency In 3D Animation Software Such As Maya, 3Ds Max, Or Motionbuilder.
Extensive Knowledge Of Rigging And Skinning Techniques, Including Creating And Maintaining Character Rigs.
Experience With Motion Capture Technology And Pipelines.
Ability To Collaborate With Artists, Programmers, And Designers To Implement High-Quality Animation Into Game Environments.
