- Greet and welcome customers to the store in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Lead and train sales associates on customer service best practices and product knowledge.
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Proactively approach and engage customers to drive sales and meet store goals.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, and effectively communicate them to customers.
- Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring proper pricing and display.
- Collaborate with store management to create and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash and other forms of payment in a responsible and secure manner.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- Act as a role model for sales associates by exhibiting a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and exceptional customer service.

Previous Retail Experience: A Lead Sales Associate Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Strong Communication Skills: This Role Requires Effective Communication With Both Customers And Team Members. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Professionally, Both Verbally And In Writing.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Lead Sales Associate, Providing Exceptional Customer Service Is Essential. The Candidate Should Have A Friendly And Helpful Demeanor, And Be Able To Handle Difficult Situations With Tact And Professionalism.
Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team: The Lead Sales Associate Will Be Responsible For Supervising And Training Other Sales Associates. Therefore, They Should Have The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team To Achieve Sales Goals And Maintain A Positive Work Environment.
Knowledge Of Dollar General Products And Policies: Familiarity With Dollar General's Products, Services, And Policies Is Important For This Position. The Candidate Should Be Able To Assist Customers With Product Inquiries And Provide Accurate Information About Sales, Promotions, And Store Policies.
