  1. Lead and manage a team of SREs to ensure the reliability and performance of our systems.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for improving system uptime and minimizing downtime.
  3. Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company standards for site reliability and performance.
  6. Recruit, train, and mentor SRE team members to build a high-performing and cohesive team.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for SRE processes and workflows.
  8. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to SRE to continuously improve processes and systems.
  9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and upper management on SRE initiatives, progress, and results.
  10. Lead and participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
  11. Drive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability within the SRE team.
  12. Collaborate with other technology teams to plan and implement system upgrades and changes with minimal impact on users.
  13. Ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures to protect company data and systems.
  14. Monitor and manage SRE team budgets, resources, and timelines to meet business objectives.
  15. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and belonging.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Managing Large-Scale, High-Traffic Websites And Applications In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Site Reliability Engineering Principles And Best Practices, Including Automation, Monitoring, And Incident Response.

  • Proven Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Sre Engineers.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Cloud Computing Platforms, Such As Aws Or Google Cloud, And Experience With Infrastructure-As-Code Tools Like Terraform Or Cloudformation.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders To Drive Continuous Improvement And Innovation Within The Sre Function.
