Patient Care Technician - Cardiac Neuro ICU (PCT)

1. Provide direct patient care and support to patients in the Cardiac Neuro ICU unit.
2. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
3. Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and feeding patients.
4. Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the direction of a nurse.
5. Document patient information accurately and maintain patient records.
6. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
7. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and common areas.
8. Assist with medical procedures and tests as needed.
9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
10. Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
11. Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on current healthcare practices and protocols.
12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
