Job Description

At Colgate-Palmolive, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Social Media & Communications. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of our social media and communications strategies, driving engagement with our brand and products.   1. Develop and implement social media and communications strategies in line with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day management of all social media channels, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
  3. Create and curate engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  4. Monitor and analyze social media metrics and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, making recommendations for improvement.
  5. Lead the team in brainstorming and executing creative social media campaigns and initiatives to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and continuously identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in social media and communications.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand image and message across all channels.
  8. Manage and mentor a team of social media and communications professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  9. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and growth.
  10. Serve as the main point of contact for all social media and communications related inquiries and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Social Media And Communication Strategy Development, Preferably In A Corporate Environment.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Social Media Platforms And Campaigns, Including Experience With Analytics And Data-Driven Decision Making.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Create Compelling And Engaging Content For A Variety Of Audiences.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, As Well As Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Results.
