- Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and operation of the city's water pipelines.
- Manage and lead a team of technicians to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.

- Monitor and analyze pipeline data to identify potential issues and develop solutions for prevention and resolution.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the city's water pipelines remain in optimal condition.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide support in resolving pipeline issues as needed.
- Represent the city at meetings and events related to pipeline maintenance and operations.
- Uphold the values and mission of the City of Austin, promoting a positive image of the organization to the public.
A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Pipeline Maintenance And Coordination, Preferably In The Water Utility Industry.
Strong Technical Knowledge And Understanding Of Pipeline Systems, Including Materials, Construction Methods, And Maintenance Techniques.
Experience In Leadership And Supervisory Roles, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Technicians And Coordinate Their Work Schedules And Tasks.
Familiarity With Relevant State And Federal Regulations, As Well As Industry Best Practices, For Pipeline Maintenance And Safety.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Other Departments, Contractors, And The General Public.
