  1. Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in the Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
  2. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
  3. Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments of patients.
  4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
  5. Prescribe and administer medications as needed.
  6. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  7. Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  10. Stay current with advancements and developments in pediatric surgical and neonatal care.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  12. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of patient care.
  14. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and educational programs.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and provide the highest level of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies

  • Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Physician Assistant In A Surgical Or Neonatal Intensive Care Setting

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Surgical Procedures And Neonatal Care Protocols

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Critically Ill Infants And Their Families.
