
Physician Assistant - Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care

- Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in the Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments of patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Prescribe and administer medications as needed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Stay current with advancements and developments in pediatric surgical and neonatal care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of patient care.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and educational programs.

Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies
Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa)
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Physician Assistant In A Surgical Or Neonatal Intensive Care Setting
Knowledge Of Pediatric Surgical Procedures And Neonatal Care Protocols
Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Critically Ill Infants And Their Families.
