Job Description

CHI St. Alexius Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Health Information Management skills to join our caring and professional team. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate, detail-oriented individual who is committed to delivering the highest level of patient care.The RN Health Information Management position requires an individual who has experience in data entry, medical coding, and record keeping, as well as a deep understanding of the policies and procedures related to medical records. In addition to these qualifications, we are looking for a candidate who is organized, efficient, and knowledgeable about current trends in health information management.The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and ensure the accuracy and security of all patient records, as well as provide support to the medical team. They must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.We are looking for a special individual who is passionate about providing quality care to our patients, while ensuring the accuracy of their medical records.   • Entering and maintaining accurate and secure patient records
  • Coding and classifying medical records
  • Updating and organizing patient medical records
  • Ensuring compliance with health information management standards and protocols
  • Providing support to medical staff
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Providing quality care to patients
  • Maintaining knowledge of current trends in health information management
  • Troubleshooting any issues regarding patient records or medical coding
  • Assisting in the training of new staff members on health information management policies and procedures.

About CHI St. Alexius Health

The CHI St. Alexius Health regional healthcare system was formed in April 2016, when several Catholic Health Initiative healthcare facilities joined together to form the largest healthcare delivery system in central and western North Dakota. The system is comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.
