External Reporting Controller - Analyst

- Prepare and review external financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles
- Monitor and analyze changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure accurate reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and information
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data by performing thorough reviews and reconciliations
- Identify and investigate any discrepancies or variances in financial data and provide recommendations for resolution
- Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other required reports
- Communicate with auditors and regulators to address any inquiries or issues related to external reporting
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and compliance teams
- Participate in the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting systems
- Support the development and maintenance of internal controls related to external reporting processes
- Continuously assess and improve internal processes and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate external reporting.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In External Reporting And Financial Analysis Within The Banking Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Gaap And Sec Reporting Requirements.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data.
Proficient In Financial Modeling And Forecasting.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field; Cpa Or Advanced Degree Preferred.
