External Reporting Controller - Analyst

- Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of external reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify financial information for external reporting purposes.
- Identify and communicate potential risks and issues related to financial reporting to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure compliance in external reporting.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of external reporting.
- Prepare presentations and other materials for external stakeholders, such as investors and regulators.
- Provide support for external audits and respond to inquiries from auditors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Train and coach junior team members on external reporting processes and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc requests related to external reporting.
- Uphold the company's values and represent the organization in a professional manner at all times.
Strong Understanding Of Gaap And Sec Reporting Requirements.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Cpa Certification Or Equivalent Professional Accounting Designation.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In External Financial Reporting, Preferably In The Banking Industry.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data And Communicate Findings Effectively To Senior Management.
