At Capital Group Companies, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Analyst to join our dynamic Risk Research, Analysis, and Measurement team. You will work closely with our portfolio managers and research teams to develop quantitative models and strategies that will drive informed decision-making and enhance our risk management processes.   1. Conduct quantitative risk analysis: Utilize advanced statistical and mathematical methods to analyze potential risks in investment strategies.
  2. Collaborate with portfolio managers and research teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand investment strategies, identify potential risks, and develop solutions.
  3. Develop quantitative models and strategies: Utilize your expertise in statistical and mathematical modeling to develop and implement data-driven risk management strategies.
  4. Perform data analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends and patterns that may pose risks to the organization.
  5. Monitor and report on risk exposure: Regularly monitor and report on the organization's risk exposure, while providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Stay informed about industry developments and advancements in risk management techniques and incorporate them into the organization's practices.
  7. Communicate findings: Effectively communicate complex quantitative analysis and risk assessment findings to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
  8. Adhere to regulatory standards: Ensure all risk management processes and procedures comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
  9. Continuously improve risk management processes: Proactively identify areas for improvement in risk management processes and develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Uphold company values: Demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's values and ethics, and act with integrity and professionalism at all times.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Quantitative Analyst Must Possess Advanced Mathematical And Statistical Skills In Order To Effectively Analyze And Interpret Complex Financial Data.

  • Knowledge Of Risk Management Principles: A Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Concepts Such As Value At Risk, Stress Testing, And Scenario Analysis Is Essential For This Role.

  • Experience With Financial Modeling: Quantitative Analysts Should Have Experience With Building And Using Financial Models To Evaluate And Forecast Risk Factors.
