  1. Design and develop cutting-edge memory systems for Broadcom's products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and create innovative solutions.
  3. Conduct research and stay updated on the latest memory technologies and trends in the industry.
  4. Develop and optimize memory architectures to meet performance, power, and area requirements.
  5. Perform simulations and analysis to validate the functionality and performance of memory systems.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug memory system issues and provide timely resolutions.
  7. Work closely with the Place and Route Engineer to ensure seamless integration of memory systems into the overall chip design.
  8. Collaborate with the verification team to create and execute test plans for memory systems.
  9. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  10. Continuously improve and optimize design methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  11. As the Place and Route Engineer, be responsible for translating the logical design of integrated circuits into physical layouts.
  12. Optimize chip floorplans, placement, and routing to meet timing, power, and area constraints.
  13. Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies to implement the physical design of integrated circuits.
  14. Conduct design rule checks (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) checks to ensure design accuracy.
  15. Collaborate with the physical verification team to fix any design violations and ensure manufacturability of the chip.
  16. Work closely with the Memory System Designer to integrate memory systems into the overall chip design.
  17. Provide guidance and support to junior team members in implementing physical designs.
  18. Stay updated on the latest physical design technologies and methodologies to continuously improve design processes.
  19. Collaborate with the design and verification teams to ensure successful tape-out of the chip.
  20. Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a high level of quality in all work produced.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or Related Field

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Memory Systems For Asic Or Fpga

  • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Place And Route Tools Such As Cadence Encounter Or Synopsys Icc

  • Strong Understanding Of Memory Architecture, Timing Constraints, And Physical Design Considerations

  • Experience With Scripting Languages Such As Tcl, Perl, Or Python For Automation And Optimization Of Place And Route Flows.
