  1. Manage and maintain the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) SAP Planning system for Boeing.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Develop solutions and recommendations to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the ERP system.
  5. Design, configure, and test new functionalities and system enhancements.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the ERP system.
  7. Provide training and support to end users on how to effectively use the SAP Planning system.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SAP Planning to continuously improve the system.
  9. Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ERP system.
  10. Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades and updates.
  11. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address any potential issues.
  12. Document system changes and enhancements for future reference.
  13. Communicate system updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
  14. Follow established processes and procedures to maintain system security and compliance.
  15. Participate in meetings and discussions to provide input and make recommendations for process improvements.
  16. Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  17. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the ERP system.
  18. Assist with system audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  19. Uphold and promote Boeing's values and standards in all job responsibilities.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Sap Planning Modules: A Functional Analyst For Erp Sap Planning At Boeing Should Possess A Thorough Understanding And Experience In Using Various Sap Planning Modules Such As Sap Supply Chain Management (Scm), Sap Advanced Planner And Optimizer (Apo), And Sap Production Planning (Pp).

  • Expertise In Erp Implementation: Boeing Requires A Functional Analyst With Experience In Implementing Erp Solutions, Specifically Sap, In A Large-Scale Organization. This Includes Experience In Configuration, Customization, Testing, And Deployment Of Sap Planning Modules.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Functional Analyst, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities To Identify Complex Business Problems And Provide Effective Sap-Based Solutions.

  • Understanding Of Aerospace Industry: A Functional Analyst At Boeing Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Aerospace Industry, Its Business Processes, And Supply Chain Operations. This Knowledge Is Critical In Designing And Implementing Sap Planning Solutions That Align With The Company's Specific Requirements.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Functional Analyst Will Be Required To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Business Stakeholders, Technical Teams, And Project Managers. Hence, Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role.
