Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will provide assistance with prescription processing and customer inquiries.The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of pharmacy operations, including knowledge of prescription medications, medical terminology, and insurance regulations. You will also have strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be certified as a Pharmacy Technician by the California State Board of Pharmacy (BSOP). Responsibilities:

• Process prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Utilize knowledge of pharmacy operations, prescription medications, medical terminology, and insurance regulations
• Maintain organization and accuracy of pharmacy records and supplies
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Uphold federal and state laws and regulations
• Maintain professional and ethical standards
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Troubleshoot and resolve pharmacy-related issues
• Provide training and guidance to other pharmacy staff members
• Assist with inventory management and restocking
• Ensure pharmacy is appropriately staffed during business hours
