Asset Protection Visual Security Officer

As an Asset Protection Visual Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and deterring any suspicious activity in the store. You will ensure customer safety and shoplifting prevention through visual surveillance and patrol. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable interacting with customers.To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior experience in security, loss prevention, or a related field, and strong customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities of an Asset Protection Visual Security Officer:

• Monitor and observe customer activity to identify any suspicious behavior or potential shoplifting attempts
• Patrol the store to ensure customers are safe and secure

• Remain current on store policies and security procedures
• Maintain a high level of customer service and remain professional at all times
• Educate customers on store policies and security procedures
• Investigate suspicious activities and cases of shoplifting
• Report any security breaches or incidents to the appropriate authorities
