  1. Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children with various neurological and developmental disorders, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and educators, to provide integrated and coordinated care for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  5. Stay current with research and advancements in the field of pediatric neuropsychology and incorporate new findings into practice.
  6. Provide education and support to patients and their families to help them understand and cope with their child's condition.
  7. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of job duties.
  9. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  10. Collaborate with community organizations to provide outreach and educational opportunities related to pediatric neuropsychology.
  11. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families, as well as colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Adhere to all policies and procedures of BJC HealthCare and maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve clinical practices to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  14. Attend continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance skills.
  15. Act as an advocate for children and their families, promoting their well-being and advocating for their needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology Or Neuropsychology From An Accredited University.

  • Licensure As A Psychologist In The State Of Missouri.

  • Completion Of A Post-Doctoral Fellowship In Pediatric Neuropsychology.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Conducting Neuropsychological Evaluations With Children And Adolescents.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Disorders And Experience Working With Interdisciplinary Teams.
