Welcome to Beckman Coulter! We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior EHS Specialist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and implementing best practices to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.   1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Provide guidance and support to management and employees on EHS issues and concerns.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS regulations and industry best practices and ensure compliance within the organization.
  5. Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
  6. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in EHS processes and procedures.
  8. Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
  10. Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure timely submission of required reports and permits.
  11. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to mitigate potential hazards.
  12. Lead and participate in EHS committees and initiatives to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  13. Manage and maintain EHS records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  14. Stay informed about emerging EHS trends and technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
  15. Serve as a mentor and resource to other EHS team members and provide guidance and support as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Manufacturing Environment, With A Focus On Ehs Compliance And Risk Management

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Protection, And Hazardous Materials Management

  • Experience Developing And Implementing Ehs Programs, Policies, And Procedures

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees At All Levels On Ehs Best Practices And Procedures.
