- Conduct thorough audits and investigations to identify areas of non-compliance within the organization.
- Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance in all aspects of the organization's operations.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines to ensure audit processes are in line with industry standards.
- Analyze data and identify potential risks and areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to implement corrective action plans and mitigate compliance risks.
- Develop and maintain audit programs and procedures to ensure consistent and effective auditing practices.
- Document and report audit findings and recommendations to management and relevant authorities.
- Conduct training and educational sessions for staff to promote compliance and ethical practices.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Serve as a resource for compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance to employees.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices related to compliance auditing and make recommendations for improvement.
- Represent the organization in external audits and compliance reviews.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in performing job duties.
- Proactively identify and report potential compliance violations or areas of concern to senior leadership.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Or Certified Internal Auditor (Cia) Designation.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Internal Or External Auditing, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Healthcare Regulations, Such As Hipaa, Stark Law, And Anti-Kickback Statute.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Communicate Potential Compliance Risks To Management.
