  1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients and their families.
  2. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to create individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress.
  5. Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and disease management.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with examinations and procedures.
  10. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  13. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Atrium Health.
  14. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
  15. Uphold professional standards and ethics in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License: Atrium Health Requires All Lpns To Have A Valid And Current License In The State Where They Will Be Working.

  • Minimum Education And Experience: Candidates Must Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent And Must Have Completed An Accredited Lpn Program. A Minimum Of One Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting Is Also Preferred.

  • Strong Clinical Skills: Lpns Must Possess Strong Clinical Skills, Including The Ability To Administer Medications, Perform Basic Medical Procedures, And Provide Patient Care Under The Supervision Of A Registered Nurse Or Physician.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Lpns Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Effectively Both Verbally And In Writing.

  • Compassionate And Empathetic: Atrium Health Places A High Value On Compassionate And Empathetic Care For Patients. Lpns Must Have A Strong Sense Of Empathy And Be Able To Provide Emotional Support To Patients And Their Families.
