  1. Clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, and offices in accordance with established procedures and infection control guidelines.
  2. Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks as assigned, including but not limited to dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
  3. Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels of cleaning and sanitation products, notifying management when supplies are low.
  4. Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling hazardous materials.
  5. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
  6. Assist with the set-up and breakdown of equipment and supplies for special events or meetings.
  7. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
  8. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
  9. Continuously monitor and improve the cleanliness and appearance of all assigned areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  10. Follow established protocols for handling, labeling, and disposing of biohazardous waste.
  11. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks efficiently and effectively.
  12. Stay up-to-date on new cleaning techniques and infection control procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any concerns or issues that may arise.
  14. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal regulations.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence within the department.
  16. Ensure compliance with all Atrium Health policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and patient privacy.
  17. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to help maintain a high level of service and patient satisfaction.
  18. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
  19. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
