Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Analyst to join our team at American International Group (AIG). As a Contract Analyst for our Accident & Health (A&H) Product division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our contract management process. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing complex insurance contracts, identifying any potential issues or discrepancies, and providing recommendations for improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance policies and regulations, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   1. Review and analyze complex insurance contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  2. Identify potential issues or discrepancies in contracts and provide recommendations for improvements.
  3. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to gather necessary information and resolve any contract-related issues.
  4. Maintain organized and accurate records of all contract-related documents and information.
  5. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts adhere to regulatory requirements.
  6. Stay current on industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations to inform contract analysis and recommendations.
  7. Work closely with product development and underwriting teams to ensure contract language aligns with business objectives.
  8. Participate in contract negotiations with clients and provide support to the sales team as needed.
  9. Conduct regular audits of existing contracts to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
  10. Provide training and guidance to junior analysts on contract management processes and procedures.
  11. Adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection policies when handling sensitive contract information.
  12. Proactively seek out opportunities to streamline and improve the contract management process.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes and procedures for contract management.
  14. Keep accurate and detailed records of all contract-related activities and report on key metrics to senior management.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company in a positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Contract Analysis And Product Development
