  1. Develop and optimize HIP (Heterogeneous-compute Interface for Portability) runtime software for AI applications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions for AI technology.
  3. Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technology to continuously improve the HIP runtime software.
  4. Write efficient and high-quality code to ensure the smooth functioning of the HIP runtime software.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug issues in the HIP runtime software, ensuring timely resolution.
  6. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality and standards.
  7. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  8. Design and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and scalability of the HIP runtime software.
  9. Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance the performance of the HIP runtime software.
  10. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance team efficiency.
  11. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the HIP runtime software meets quality standards.
  12. Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies and incorporate them into the development process.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress.
  14. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within the specified deadlines.
  15. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve the overall AI technology at AMD.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C++, Python, And Cuda.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience In Developing And Optimizing High-Performance Computing (Hpc) Software.
