Job Description

Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking for a new opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives? AdventHealth is seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN to join our team as a Specialty ICU Nurse on the night shift. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in our state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit. We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.   1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  2. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patients' conditions to ensure timely and appropriate treatment.
  3. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and document all patient interactions and interventions.
  5. Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions and respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies.
  6. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
  7. Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  8. Stay updated on current nursing practices and techniques to provide the best possible care to patients.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and strive to continuously improve patient outcomes.
  10. Foster a culture of compassion, teamwork, and excellence among the nursing team.
  11. Provide support and guidance to less experienced nurses and assist with their professional development.
  12. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  14. Work night shifts and provide 24/7 availability for patient care.
  15. Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to nursing practice.
  16. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  17. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  18. Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all medical equipment in the ICU.
  19. Participate in patient rounds and provide updates on patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
  20. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications.

  • Current Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Preferred.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Or Icu Setting.
