- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, MRI, CT scan, and/or ultrasound equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and appropriate imaging techniques are used to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Review patient medical history and obtain necessary information for imaging procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions during procedures and report any changes to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, troubleshoot technical issues, and report any malfunctions.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to radiologic technology.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and offering feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.

Completion Of An Accredited Radiologic Technology Program: Candidates For A Radiologic Technologist Position At Adventhealth Must Have Completed A Program That Is Accredited By The Joint Review Committee On Education In Radiologic Technology (Jrcert).
Arrt Certification: The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Is The Nationally Recognized Credentialing Organization For Radiologic Technologists. Adventhealth Requires Candidates To Be Certified By The Arrt In Order To Be Considered For A Radiologic Technologist Position.
State Licensure: In Addition To Arrt Certification, Candidates Must Also Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Radiologic Technologist. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All Of The Necessary Requirements To Practice In Their State.
Experience With Advanced Imaging Modalities: Adventhealth Is A Leading Healthcare Provider And Utilizes Advanced Imaging Technologies Such As Ct Scans, Mri, And Pet/Ct. Candidates Should Have Experience And Proficiency In Using These Modalities.
Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills: As A Radiologic Technologist, Candidates Will Be Working Directly With Patients And Must Possess Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills. This Includes The Ability To Explain Procedures, Answer Questions, And Provide Comfort And Support To Patients During Imaging Procedures.
