Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Lighting Artist to join our team at Activision! Our Senior Lighting Artist will create visually stunning lighting effects that bring our games to life. Your work will not only support the game’s visuals, but it must also communicate the game’s story and atmosphere. You should have a keen eye for detail and a passion for the art of lighting.The ideal candidate is highly creative, with a strong technical background, great communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate. You should be comfortable working with a variety of tools and technologies, including 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, RenderMan and Unreal Engine. Previous experience in video game development is a plus. If you have the drive and enthusiasm to create beautiful lighting effects, we can’t wait to hear from you!

Maya
Highly Proficient In A Major D Package (Eg. Ds Max
Houdini)
Excellent Knowledge Of Lighting And Rendering Techniques And Technologies
Experience With Real-Time Lighting Systems Such As Unity
Unreal Or Lumberyard
Experience With Physically-Based Rendering
Experience With Hdr And Ibl Lighting
Familiarity With Industry-Standard Lighting Pipelines
Ability To Troubleshoot Difficult Technical And Artistic Issues
